I’ve been waiting to get my ARC for Aven Ellis’ new book for a while and I was screaming and dancing around when I got it. I absolutely LOVED LOVED LOVED this book, sorry but every other book has a difficult job keeping up. Well, I’ve found one: See Jane Fall by the lovely Katy Regnery. Her story is amazing. You can’t compare these two books, so I had to nominate them both:

Waiting for Prince Harry – Aven Ellis

The bit on the back:

Twenty-four-year-old Kylie Reed has always been a rule follower. Organized and cautious to a fault, her dreams for life are often filed away for future use—when she has a house, when she meets her future husband, when she has been at her visual display job at a chic Dallas boutique longer...Kylie always has a reason for living her life in the future, not in the present, and not living her life to the fullest and reaching her dream of becoming a fashion designer.

The only exception to rules, of course, would be running away with Prince Harry—Kylie’s ideal man. A hot, fun ginger boy would be worth breaking all the rules for, of course. And Kylie is sure Harry just needs the right, centering woman to settle him down. But living in Dallas and not knowing Prince Harry make this a non-option.

Or does it?

Because when Kylie accidentally falls into the lap of a gorgeous ginger boy—yes, even more gorgeous than the real Prince Harry—all bets are off. Could this stranger be the one to show Kylie how to take a chance, to face her fears, and live in the present? And could this stranger be the Prince Harry she has been waiting for? Kylie’s life takes some unexpected twists and turns thanks to this chance encounter, and she knows her life will never be the same because of it..

My opinion:

This book is amazing with two awesome main characters who have so much chemistry themselves, but even more together. Aven’s style of writing is passionate, flirty, fun, vivid, engaging and much more. To say it in Harrison’s words: WICKED!!! Harrison is a hockey player and Kylie wants to be a fashion designers. I loved how their story developed and the scenes were all so real, varied and brilliantly described.
We also learn a lot about live and persewing dreams and how different both characters deal with this. Only with being together and getting to know each other in more than one way they help each other to see the light. This novel is emotionally deep and so gripping. I couldn’t put it down. There are actually not enough words to describe how AWESOME this story is. I’ll post the review tomorrow ;) So keep your eyes open.

See Jane Fall – Katy Regnery

The bit on the back:

When Trend magazine contracts Lindstrom & Sons to manage a fashion shoot in Yellowstone, easygoing Lars Lindstrom rolls his eyes. “Babysitting” supermodel Samara Amaya’s assistant sounds like a snore, even amidst the park’s lush wildlife and scenery. Little does he know that Jane Mays, Samara’s down-to-earth, smart-mouthed assistant and cousin, will be the most exciting person he’s ever met. Her smoky voice and surprisingly sweet heart rock his world.

Jane has been hurt before, but this time it’s right. From loving the same music to their effortlessly sexy sparring, her handsome new tour guide gets her—and Jane is getting Lars right back until Samara blows into town. Used to living in her cousin’s shadow, Jane knows Lars will be nothing more than a notch in a bedpost if the spoiled supermodel has her way. In the past, maybe she would have stepped aside. This time she’ll find the strength to stand up to Samara once and for all…and trust that Lars will be there to catch her if she falls.

My opinion:

What an amazing story, full of love, feeling, drama and more. Jane is a normal girl coming to Montana to prepare the fashion shoot of her cousin Samara. Theres he meets gorgeous Lars. Their chemistry was wonderful and unique instantly and Katy desribed their love in a marvellous way. Then Samara comes to Montana and the drama and misunderstandings start. A passionate story about true love and what you want in life, Katy is a brilliant writer and really deserves to stand here. The scenes between Lars and Jane were desribed in such a delicate and brilliant way, I couldn’t put this book down. AMAZING!!!
