The blurb:

There’s no place like home…
Enough is enough! The always perfect Laurie Chapman had jumped in her car and raced as fast as she could from London heading to Sunset Bay and (she hopes!) the open arms of her estranged sister…
Mia Chapman loves running Dolly’s Diner in the picture-perfect coastal Cornish town of Sunset Bay. Now that her and Grandma Dolly’s dream is finally a reality Mia has never been prouder! Until Laurie suddenly turns up on her doorstep… How can she forgive the sister who walked away?
Once upon a time Mia and Laurie were best friends. Back together after so long, the time has come for the sisters to figure out what went so wrong all those years ago – and whether they can ever put it right!

Book #2 by Rebecca Pugh, yay!!!!! Excuse my excitement, but I loved her first book and I just adore the sound of this one. Let me tell you one thing before I start my review: She did it again! I was hooked from the first word to the last.

This story is set in Sunset Bay. Now I normally don’t talk about the location first, but in this case I feel I have to. This coastal town is just amazing, beautiful location, wonderful people and a great setting for a story. Rebecca described the places wonderfully, I felt like being there with the characters. All I want now is to visit Sunset Bay.

Now, I better start talking about the characters ;) The story follows the Chapman sisters. Mia Chapman lives in Sunset Bay and run’s her grandmother’s diner. It’s her passion and she lives loving in this small town.
Laurie Chapman comes back to Sunset Bay after she caught her boyfriend Neil with another girl. She also doesn’t feel happy with her job, so some time away is exactly what she needs. Mia is still angry with Laurie for not joining her to run the diner after their grandma died. So you can imagine that their first encounter after so many years is not fun at all.

Laurie stays in Sunset Bay, so they get to talk and they find out what all went wrong in their past. It makes them understand each other better. Spending more time with each other also means getting to know each other in another way and building a new and more special bond.

Of course this story wouldn’t be complete with some hot and sexy men. And there is two of them of course ;). Mia has been in love with Cal (one of the cooks) for years, but he has a girlfriend… And Laurie, well she just came out of a relationship… but what about the other cook?! Marco…
I’m not saying more here, just that both men would make great book boyfriends and they bring out the best in the girls.

This book is about sisters, family, but also making decisions on live and love. Rebecca Pugh wrote a wonderful, romantic, vivid and beautiful book. Her writing is addictive, sweet, fresh and just everything you need for a great page turner! I absolutely adored this story, the characters and the setting. Can’t wait to read more book by Rebecca Pugh.
