My Opinion:
One week in
beautiful Tuscany and a wedding to attend. That just sounds perfect, doesn’t it? (Ana, Mary?!)
Well, yes, but not if this means you’re going to meet your crazy relatives.
And it gets
even worse: Ailsa’s ex-boyfriend is in the same hotel!! Or should I say her
HUSBAND!! Yes, you heard right! Ailsa is married to Nick and she left him a few
months you ago, because he doesn’t have a real job and he doesn’t know how to
handle his money.
The crazy
relatives and the facts about Nick made this story totally interesting and I
just wanted to find out more.
Nobody knows
about her marriage. And the surprise list goes on: Her sister Kitty turns up at the
wedding too, and these two don’t really see eye to eye.
Jessica,
Ailsa’s cousin, tries to set the two of them (Ailsa and Nick) up. Jessica is the
one, who is going to get married. Justin, Jessica’s fiancé, sees her on a
balcony talking to a man and then kissing him. Everything gets into a real
chaos afterwards. Dudley (Jessica’s dad) is chasing Justin, because he thinks
the wedding is cancelled. Justin is hiding in Ailsa’s room and Ailsa has to get
Nick to help her. The next day Ailsa tries to reunite Jessica and Justin and is
successful. The night she is supposed to go on a mystery date, Jessica set
up... it’s NICK. They end up having sex. This night, there was a big storm, the
storm destroys the wedding place and everything has to be reorganised.
I loved the
energy between Nick and Ailsa, although they still fighted and I was happy
there was still some drama to come.
There are a lot
of misunderstandings between them, something always came in between, which made this story so catchy and enjoyable.
That’s not
everything: there is also Jessica’s ex-boyfriend and stalker Charles.
Ailsa comes to a point where she admits everything and is also true to herself and her feelings. But where is Nick? read it and find out ;)
A funny and
romantic read, perfect for a lazy weekend ;)
