My own copy

The blurb:

Fall in love with the gorgeous seaside town of White Cliff Bay this summer and enjoy long sunny days, beautiful beaches and… a little romance.

Darcy Davenport is ready for a fresh start. Determined to leave a string of disastrous jobs and relationships behind her, she can’t wait to explore White Cliff Bay and meet the locals.

When Darcy swims in the crystal clear waters of the bay, she discovers the charming Rose Island Lighthouse. But it’s not just the beautiful building that she finds so intriguing…

Riley Eddison doesn’t want change. Desperate to escape the memories of his past, he lives a life of solitude in the lighthouse. Yet he can’t help but notice the gorgeous woman who swims out to his island one day.

Darcy is drawn to the mysterious and sexy Riley, but when it seems the town is trying to demolish his home, she soon finds herself having to pick sides.

She’s fallen in love with White Cliff Bay. But is that all Darcy’s fallen for?

Pull up a deck chair, sink back with a bowl of strawberry ice cream and pick up the summer read you won’t be able to put down.

My Opinion:

*Book provided by the publisher on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

Back in White Cliff Bay, yay!!!! I think you get my excitement, if you have read Christmas at Lilac Cottage and Snowflakes at Silver Cover, if you haven’t go read them now, they are fab!!!

The story follows Darcy Davenport, who hopes for a new start in White Cliff Bay. She is actually a marine biologist, but things change, so she is starting a new, totally different job. She wants to finally leave her past behind her, meaning her bad relationships, her past jobs and also her parents. They have never been supportive and never liked her career choice.

Darcy falls for this cute place very fast and not only White Cliff Bay, but also Riley Eddison. When she goes swimming, she discovers Rose Island Lighthouse. There she meets him.

Riley seems very grumpy and moody at first and the women in town have been after him for a while, but he had no interest. Meeting Darcy changes everything for him. He is originally from the States and never had the plans of staying.

Riley and Darcy have so much chemistry, the sparks were flying around all the time. I adored their scenes and moments together and Holly included their emotions in the most beautiful way. I also really like how Holly included their past and the way we found out about it all.

Anyway, what I actually wanted to mention before is that Riley is losing his lighthouse and Darcy kind of gets in between and has to make an important decision. So drama is guaranteed for sure, oh and her past as a marine biologist might get handy.

Riley is sexy, passionate, hot, caring and so much more and you could really see him change through Darcy, which was wonderful. She made home a better person. Oh and another thing I like about him?! He likes hockey, as in the Dallas Demons ;). Darcy is clever, intelligent and full of life, I just loved her. Also all the other characters had a lot of charm.

This book is a fabulous romance that had me swooning from the start. Holly’s writing takes you right into the characters’ world and makes you never want to leave again. Another thing that was fantastic in this book was reading about Libby, George and the others again. If you’re looking for a romantic, wonderful, passionate, vivid and fun read, this has to be your choice!
