Favourite Book Covers 2

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Welcome to the second round of my favourite book covers, You can find the first post here:

„Don’t judge a book by it’s cover.“ I know that of course and I think that’s also true, because it’s about the story and the writing and not about the picture in front. So this is not based on the story inside, only on the cover art, because I think that there are some beautiful one out there.

Aven Ellis - Chronicles of a Lincoln Park Fashionista and Surviving The Rachel

Chronicles of a Lincoln Park Fashionista: Another Aven Ellis cover, I know, but I just can’t help it!!! The skyline, the couple, the colours – just perfect and I love the details!!!

Surviving The Rachel: WOW, WOW, WOW!!! The colours are amazing, the skyline looks great, the couple fits the couple in the book and the snowflakes make it unique and special. I fell in love with this cover the moment I saw it.

Amelia Thorne – Beneath the Moon and the Stars

I especially love the back ground with the stars, the moon and the tree branches. I think it fits the title and the story perfectly and the colours create a wonderful atmosphere. The lower part seems like taken out oft he story and the title is a real eye-catcher.

Holly Martin – One Hundred Christmas Proposals

This cover is full of sweet and wonderful details, carefully selected and all with a connection to the story. I think it’s so magical and very festive – just like a cover for a Christmas book has to be.

Jenny Hale - A Christmas To Remember

MAGICAL!!!! The trees in this bluish colour, the house, the Christmas tree, the snow, the couple and all these small little details make the cover sparkly and special!! I love it!

Jill Steeples - Hopelessly Devoted To You

London in the background looks amazing and I really like the bridge with the lights, a very cute cover!

Alexandra Brown – Ice Cream at Carrington’s

This cover is full of life! The colours are perfect and I like every single detail. The story comes through and it puts a smile on my face every single time.

Ella Fairlie – The Christmas Bucket List

Sparkly, shiny, gleaming and just GORGEOUS!!! The font of the title is beautiful and I think the whole image is very festive and romantic.

Rebecca Raisin - Christmas Wedding At The Gingerbread Café

STUNNING!!!! The atmosphere created with the colours and the background is beautiful. The little details in the title are so cute and I love the little gingerbread man with the wedding cake! This is the perfect cover for this story!!!

Melissa Hill – A Gift To Remember

I love the idea with the book and then the couple, the dog and the trees coming out of this book. The skyline in the background is simple, but very effective and I love how the details have a connection of what’s coming out of the book.

Nikki Moore - #LoveLondon series

Whether it’s the snowflakes, the flowers or the fireworks forming a circle, it always fits the title of the short story and the chosen colours really complement each other. The little people show a part of the story, which I think is really cute.

Ellen Faith – Home For The Holidays

Sweet, effective and just amazing! The perfect colour combination and I love the hearts in the book title.

Carole Matthews – The Christmas Party

Just lovely, it’s a very festive cover and I especially love the band forming the path in the end.

  2. Yes, all these covers are gorgeous, but they are also strangely similar in design. Not the colors, but the silhouettes of couples, or the couples from far away are recurrent in many of them :)
Great idea to share your favorite covers - will you compare with the story once you read these books?
    Have a fantastic week :)

    1. Well, they are all romance/chick-lit books, so the couples need specific poses. I do compare it with the books after, but haven't written a post about that, I include that in my reviews. Have a great week as well :)
