Found – by Elle Field

My own copy
Original Cover

The blurb:

"How did people even come up with the idea of these dizzying skyscrapers, let alone work out how to make them possible? Whoever built the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building, their legacy will live on forever. What sort of a difference will I ever make?"

Who knew one flight could change everything? When Arielle Lockley stepped on the plane at Heathrow, she never realised how different her life would be when she touched down in New York City. Now she's dealing with that aftermath, as well as trying to find common ground with Etta, her new and unexpected business partner.

But, trying to sort out business in London whilst her fiancé, Piers, recovers from surgery in New York, is starting to take its toll on their relationship. Can Arielle and Etta work together to continue Felicity's legacy without destroying it, and will Arielle and Piers even make it down the aisle to say "I do"?

Find out what happens this summer in the final part of the warm and wonderful Arielle Lockley series.

My Opinion:

*Book provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*

We are back in Arielle Lockley’s world. This is the last book of the series.

Arielle is in a really bad place when the book starts. Her beloved Felicity died, she now has a new business partner in Etta and her fiancée Piers is in the hospital.

They are in New York, which makes things more difficult. Piers is not allowed to fly home for several weeks, so Arielle has to handle everything from there, she is just going back for the funeral. And then there is also a wedding to plan. She is obviously caring for Piers, trying to achieve her dreams, so she basically has a lot to do.

I loved reading about New York. I was there a few months ago and it was fab reading about all the places and I think it’s a good place for Arielle as well. Elle found a great way to include them all in the story and described them beautifully.

Of course Arielle’s friend get their part of the story as well, which is really refreshing. I was also curious to read about what happens now between Etta and Arielle.

I have to be honest: I struggled with the storyline from time to time and some things just weren’t logical to me. I still really enjoyed this story. Elle’s writing is full of excitement and life. Her vivid style makes it really easy to read, it’s like watching a movie.

This book is a great ending to the series and I have to say I really enjoyed the all books!

Rating:
