The blurb:

Delilah James, singleton and smoothie-addict, has six months to find a date for her oldest friend’s wedding. Oh, and to prove to her ex, best man Ben, that she has totally moved on since he dumped her out-of-the-blue nine months, eight days and seventeen hours ago…

So, with her two BFFs playing Cupid, Delilah launches herself into the high-tech, fast-paced and frankly terrifying world of dating. Luckily there’s the hot new guy at work, Adam Sinclair, to practice her flirting on – even if, as a colleague, he’s strictly off-limits!

Yet time’s running out and date after disastrous date forces Delilah to tell a little white lie – and invent a fake boyfriend! But will her secret crush on Adam ruin everything? Does she even care about Ben anymore? And is it too late to untangle her web of lies and take a real date to the wedding…?

My Opinion:

I was very excited when I saw Jennifer Joyce had another book to be published. The title f this book sounds great and so does the blurb.

The story follows Delilah, who is still heartbroken over Ben. He has long moved in though, he is actually about to propose to his new girlfriend, they are stating a family. When Delilah is invited to a wedding, where Ben will definitely be there, she is determined tontake a date with her. So the search for a guy begins, she does everything to meet them, tries different things, but makes some weird experiences. It's fun to read about her date adventures and the guys she meets are... Well let's say they make the story interesting.

Always with her Delilah has her two best friends Lauren and Ryan, they are a great bunch of friends and they are so much fun to read about. Ryan with his dates all the time, his mother setting him up and Lauren with her crush on a fitness coach. Lauren might have some deeper feelings for someone else though...And Ryan?! Well, the stiry gets really exciting when he suddenly starts pretending to be Delilah's boyfriend. Their families reaction is quite hilarious.

Well, Delilah likes hanging out with Adam from work, they spend more and more time together. Could there be more?! I really enjoyed their scenes and moments.

Jennifer write a great and fresh story here, I enjoyed every second of it. This book is fun, vivid, entertaining, sweet and so much more. Jennifer takes you right into the story with her writing and creates a wonderful atmosphere.
