But who is sending the mysterious gifts, and why?

A Parcel For Anna Browne is an utterly captivating novel by Sunday Times bestselling author Miranda Dickinson.

My Opinion:

*Book provided by the publisher in exchange for on honest review*

I am always really excited for Miranda’s book and watching her vlogs made me even more excited. We heard snippets about story and I just couldn’t wait. T’s her first book under her new publisher Pan Macmillan.

The story follows Anna Browne. She works for the Messenger, as a receptionist. I instantly warmed to her and found her a wonderful character to follow around. She starts getting mysterious parcels, by an unknown sender. These parcels make her open up more and she gains a lot of confidence through the. This was fabulous to see. I just wanted to find out, who the sender was and that’s why I was so hooked. I had several suspicions, but I got surprised in the end.

Her friends and work colleagues see Anna change as well and it’s great seeing her interact with so many people. She kind of becomes a little star at her company. All these other characters got their little story to share as well. Miranda added little snippets about them and their life at the beginning of chapters. She did that in such a beautiful way, that it didn’t take away the excitement about Anna.
Miranda has a real talent to create a great bunch of characters, so well lined out and authentic. They were a wonderful group and Anna had a special connection to all of them. It was cute to see them all being so excited about the parcels as well.

Of course we also had some gorgeous men involved and I have to say I really like Ben. I felt like Anna had a deep connection with him from the start. The story took an interesting turn, at which point I actually got really angry with him, but I still had a good feeling about him, it’s hard to explain.

I really loved the idea and the concept behind this wonderful story. Miranda’s beautiful descriptions and flowing storyline made it so MAGICAL and UNIQUE. I always feel like being right there with the characters in Miranda’s stories and she always manages to put a huge smile on my face. This is another heart-warming, beautiful and stunning story by her, I’m excited for more!
