Blogger Q&A - Ananda from This Chick Reads

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Hey my dears

Hope your week started well. Today's post is a first on the blog. As you can read in my policies there will be one/two guest posts every month and also a Q&A with a blogger friend. So welcome to the "Blogger Q&A Corner". The first one to answer my questions was the amazing Ananda from This Chick Reads. Thank you hun for answering all my questions, I know there were a lot ;) And big hug for being the first one to do this xxx
Hope you're going to enjoy this everyone, I can guarantee you: The answers are worth reading.

1. Where were you born and where do you call home?

I’m from Macedonia, small country in South East Europe. It’s my Kingdom of Far Far Away.

2. How long have you been blogging and why did you start doing it?

Well, This Chick Reads is a fairly new blog. My friend Marina and I run it since August 2013, but both Marina and I are not new to blogging. We blog since 2011, I used to have another book blog and Marina still has her own. Why did I start blogging? For the love of books of course, and because of the great opportunity to chat with great people who share the same passion for books (meeting lots of new people on the way). I must say I’ve met so many great people who now I call proudly friends. Love you guys!

3. What is the name of the book you most recently blogged about?

I reviewed ‚The Parisian Christmas Bake Off‘ by Jenny Oliver. That’s my latest review.

4. What did you think about the cover?

I’m a sucker for a good cover, I’ll admit that. The cover looks ok, though I’ve seen much better covers.

5. If you could ask the Author 3 questions what would they be?

Well I’d ask is she’s currently working on a new novel, when can we expect it and who are her favourite authors?

6. What is your most favorite character and why?

Well it would probably be Issy from Jenny Colgan’s Meet Me at the Cupcake Cafe. I love that book! I could connect to Issy, though I’m not that good in cooking.

7. What genre is your favorite and why?

It’s chick lit. WHY? Life is too serious and hard sometimes, so I’ve realized this genre keeps me going. Although, ocasionally I do read thriller/historical romance too.

8. If you were ship wrecked on a desert island what 3 books would you want with you?

How to Survive on a Desert Island, Find food/water on a Desert Island and How to make a boat from scratch. Of couse I made these all up, but if I were ship wreked on an island with no one around, I would of course want a way out. Books like these would be handy, don’t you think?

9. Is there an Author that you would really like to meet?

Yes, more than one actually. I’d like to meet Jenny Hale, Aven Ellis and Erin Emerson, because I admire both their writings and their personalities. They are gracious and noble authors who actually talk a lot to their fans and this means the world to me. As I assume, means a lot to any other blogger. I love these ladies and would sure want to give them a big big hug and personaly thank them for their books and for being so awesome.

10. Do youprefer ebooks, paperbacks or hardcover?

I’m old fashioned, so I’d say paperbacks.

11. Where do you prefer to buy your books?

Either my local book store or Book Depository for online purchases.

12. Have you ever read a book more than once?

Yes, though that happens rarely since my TBR pile is massive.

13. What book are you currently reading?

I’m half way through Fast Forward by Juliet Madison and loving every second of it. Hilarious book!

14. What book are you about to start reading?

I really have no idea yet. So many books...

15. Have you read a book that you would like to rewrite the ending of?

Sure I have, though to be honest I can’t remember which one now.

16. Do you have a favorite book cover? Chose up to 3 if you like.

I love Alexandra Brown’s covers. They are chic and so girly. LOVE THEM!

17. If you could plan the perfect tholiday, what would it be?

Family, sun, beach...anywhere, since I’ll be with my dearest people around me.

18. How often do you blog?
Depends..In December we blogged every day, but usually have 2-3 posts a week.

19. What’s your favorite color?

PINK!

20. What are 5 items you never leave home without?

Phone, keyes, kindle, lipgloss and a small notebook.

21.Favorite book character crush.  Yes you can pick 2 :)

TOO many to think of now:)

22. Sleep in or get up early?

Would rather sleep in to be frank, but since I have a baby at home, yeah...up early.

23. Summer or winter?

Summer baby!

24. White wine or red?

Red always.

25. Coffee or tea?

Coffee all the way.

26. Where can we find you?
