The blurb:

Fairytale Beginnings: A heartwarming romantic comedy

Love is an open door…except when it keeps slamming in your face.

Hopeless romantic Milly Rose has had her fair share of heartbreak. Obsessed with all things Disney, she refuses to give up on finding her Prince Charming – he’s out there somewhere, isn’t he?

When Milly is given a job to investigate the origins of an historical building in the village of Clovers Rest, she’s not sure what to expect. What she discovers takes her breath away - a beautiful real life Cinderella castle, complete with turrets, a magnificent drawbridge AND a very handsome owner…Cameron Heartstone.

As Milly and Cameron begin to unearth the secrets of Clover Castle, they can’t ignore the intense chemistry building between them. But they’ve both been hurt badly before. Can they take a big leap of faith and find their own happily-ever-after?

My Opinion:

*Book provided by the author in exchange for an honest review*

My journey of this book started with some lovely “secret” mail I received from Holly. Stars with “when you wish upon a star” and then a lovely colourful star bracelet, so pretty. So, I’d like to thank you again for this Holly and I had a feeling it was you ;)

Before I start the review properly I just wanna say that the cover is STUNNING!!! I just love everything about it.

Fairytale Beginnings follows the story of Milly Rose. She is a hopeless romantic and works for Castle Heritage. She is given to investigate a castle in Clover Rest. With the castle comes the handsome, sexy, charming, attentive, strong and passionate owner Cameron Heartstone (hello new book boyfriend ;) ).

Their chemistry is intense and electric from the start and Holly found a wonderful way in her writing to describe how it all developed. Both of them have gone through a lot when it comes to relationships in the past, so they are really hesitant and don’t want to start a new relationship. And she’s there to work right, so she better stay professional. They can’t hold back their feelings though and when they finally just let go I couldn’t be happier. Of course there has to be a catch, Cameron’s PA Olivia finds a lot of ways to stop their time together. I had a feelings that even this wouldn’t stop them. Let’s just say there were a lot of misunderstandings.

Next to their blossoming romance, there was all this mystery of the castle to solve. I loved how Cameron and Milly walked through the castle and discovered more and more things. Holly has a real talent to describe the places, the setting and the story with rich details and a vivid atmosphere. I felt like being there with the characters and that’s what makes a story special in my eyes.

There are also three lovely and maybe a bit weird ladies in this story: Lavender, Gladys and Constance. They are there for Milly when she needs to talk and Lavender tells her about her great future with husband and child, she saw it in the leaves. These ladies brought a funny and sweet touch to this already wonderful story!

Milly is a wonderful, intelligent, driven, passionate and romantic character. I saw a lot of myself in her, which made me feel really close to her. I loved the way Cameron made her feel and their connection is really unique. Her colourful star bracelet has an important role in this book and I

Clover Castle is amazing!!! The perfect setting for this beautiful book, wish I could live in a castle like that.

I literally couldn’t put my iPad down, I was so hooked and just wanted Milly and Cameron to find their happy ending! Holly created the perfect fairytale story including, a castle, a love story, romance, ghosts, mystery, fun, dangerous situations and a lot of memorable scenes. This book is truly magical!!!!
Holly surprises me with her writing and her ideas every single time and I really can’t wait to read her next books!!!
