Beautiful Boss – by Christina Lauren

Original Cover
My own copy

The blurb:

The ninth work in the New York Times and #1 internationally bestselling series that started with Beautiful Bastard. In this e-novella, Will Sumner and Hanna Bergstrom (from Beautiful Player) find that a wedding and everlasting love were just the beginning.

One Player tamed. One nerd girl satisfied. And one more major life decision to make. When Will fell for Hanna, her quirky sense of humor and fierce dedication to her career were part of the attraction. (Not to mention her coy newbie attitude toward sex and her willingness to let him teach her everything.) But when the job offers start rolling in for her—and oh, they do—Hanna has trouble deciding what she wants, where they should live, and how much she should burden Will with the decision. Magic between the sheets is only one part of a relationship...getting on the same page is quite another altogether.

My Opinion:

We are back with Hanna Bergstrom and Will Sumner!!! YAY!!! They are my favourite couple from the Beautiful Series, so you can guess how big my excitment was, when I found out that they get a novella.

The book starts the night before their wedding and of course they can’t stay away from each other. After their wedding (which was great to see certain faces again and also get to know their families) they don’t go on their honeymoon right away, because Hanna goes from job interview to job interview and spends a lozt of time in the lab. She needs to make a decision and it’s also a discussion point between them. What is more important for Hanna?! Her husband or her career.

This brought another exciting level into this story, which I found fabulous. It’s a great mixture of passionate scenes, fun with friends and life changing elements and emotions. I really enjoyed this short little story. I loved catching up with Will and Hanna. Christina and Lauren are so talented and it amazes me every single time, how they put together a story. They have a sexy, passionate and fresh voice and really know what their readers enjoy.

Beautiful Player – by Christina Lauren

Original Cover
My own copy

The blurb:

A bombshell bookworm. A chronic Casanova. And a lesson in chemistry too scandalous for school.

When Hanna Bergstrom receives a lecture from her overprotective brother about neglecting her social life and burying herself in grad school, she’s determined to tackle his implied assignment: get out, make friends, start dating. And who better to turn her into the sultry siren every man wants than her brother’s gorgeous best friend, Will Sumner, venture capitalist and unapologetic playboy?

Will takes risks for a living, but he’s skeptical about this challenge of Hanna’s…until the wild night his innocently seductive pupil tempts him into bed- and teaches him a thing or two about being with a woman he can’t forget. Now that Hanna’s discovered the power of her own sex appeal, it’s up to Will to prove he’s the only man she’ll ever need.

My Opinion:

After
Beautiful Bastard and Beautiful Stranger I was really excited to finally read book #3 of the series. I’ve already read the little stories in between, which were also great. I have to say this is definitely my favourite out of all of them! Hanna and Will had so much chemistry and I just loved how their story developed.

The story follows Hanna Bergstrom, she is 24 years old and practically buries herself in lab work. Her brother doesn’t like that and wants her to get out more. He tells her to call his old friend Will Sumner. We already know Will because he works for Max and he also went to Vegas with the guys. Will might be a playboy at the beginning oft he book, but I still liked him from the start. Hanna changed something in him, that was pretty obvious. He was just awesome though, I think I fell for him myself.

Hanna knows Will from her childhood. He spent a lot of time with Jensen and also at their house. You could say she had a crush on him ;) When they meet again fort he first time, even on the phone at first the connection is there immediately.

At first they are just friends and when Hanna needs help of how to date men, Will is there to help. That develops into something passionate, sexy and so much more. But Hanna can’t really believe that he can change though, with all his women around. And Will?! Well, he is completely falling for her!!! Reading about his feelings for her and all the emotions connected to it, made me like him even more. I understood her completely as well though and that’s what makes this switching between perspectives so great. You feel connected to both main characters.

I loved the way their story developed and I really enjoyed all of their scenes. Whenever they were not together I was sad. The weekend at her parent’s house was lets say steamy and exciting and funny! I think what Hanna and Will have is really special and I was just hoping for them to find a way to be together!

Another aspect I really loved about this story was that we got to read about Sara, Max, Chloe and Bennett from time to time as well. Whether it was the three guys, the three ladies or all of them together. I think they are a great bunch and I really hope we will hear much more about them!!!
Also: Will is definitely my fave out of the guys ;) So protective, but also sexy, caring and gorgeous!!!

Another brilliant and fabulous book by Christina Lauren, with exciting scenes, great moments, an awesome couple and so much more!!! Def my fave out of the series and I think the storyline had a wonderful flow. I had to dive right into Beautiful Beginning, because this series is just AMAZING!!!

Series I’ve Started and Want To Finish

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Last week I talked about series I really want to read, this week I wanna tell you guys about series I have started, but not finished and I'm really excited to finish/continue them.

Actually Series by Ali McNamara

The covers look beautiful and the blurbs sound great. I read the first one of the series on my holidays in Florida and I LOVED it so much!!! So it was great that I won the second one in a giveaway :) I started it asap and just fell in love with everything all over again. There was not enough Sean in this one though, so I hope that will change again in book 3, can't wait!!!

Don’t Tell Series by Anna Bell

This might seem weird, but I’ve started with book three in this series. I received Don’t tell the Brides-to-Be as a review copy and loved it. I fell in love with the characters and Anna’s writuing and I really wanna know how everything started. I have read Don't Tell the Groom now as well and it was great reading about how it all started. Now only book number 2 is missing.

Beautiful Series by Christina Lauren

I alsolutely loved these books! So sexy, hot and passionate! I’ve read Beautiful Bastard and Beautiful Stranger, time for the next one...

Love London Series by Nikki Moore

Nikki created such a lovely bunch of short stories. They are flirty, fresh, young, romatic and much more. I can’t wait for the series to continue.

Puffin Island Series by Sarah Morgan

Sarah Morgan is a genious when it comes to series. I adored her O’Neil brothers series and Puffin Island is her new one. First Time in Forever was one of my favourite books in February, I’m really excited for this one to go on.

Dallas Demons by Aven Ellis

Oh god!!! I can’t tell you HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS SERIES! It involves hockey, amazing characters and the writing is brilliant. After Harrison, we will get to know Nate, he’s awesome you will see and there is more to come <3

Girl Series by Lindsey Kelk

That might come as a surprise for you, but I love this series much more than the I Heart Series. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoyed it, but the Girl series has just gripped me more. I can’t wait for Tess to continue her adventure and journey, I really loved her story so far and yes I’m still #TeamNick.

Vintage Guide Series by Kirsty Greenwood

I love the Vintage Guide to Love and Romance by Kirtsy Greenwood, one of the best books so far this year! I'm so excited already on what Jess has been up to!!! I need more!!!

The Winslow Brothers by Katy Regnery

I'm a big Katy Regnery fan and I love all of her books. This is her newest series and the first book Bidding on Brooks is such a wonderful read, can't wait to see what Katy has come up with for the other three brothers.
