The House of Mina Lima

Harry Potter fans pay attention! Here is a free way to enjoy some free Harry Potter Magic at the House of Mina Lima.

The House of Mina Lima is located very close tot he Palace Theatre in London, where they show Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. The address is 26 Greek Street. Eduardo Lima and Miraphora Mina have worked together since 2002, and the company's filmography credits work dating back to 1995. Mina has been involved with the Harry Potter franchise since the first film, and Lima since the third film.

I have been there twice now. Once in October last year and then again with my bestie Maryline in May. It’s a must for every Harry Potter fan, because you can see the designs and graphics from Mina and Lima, the graphic designers oft he Harry Potter movies.

It’s like a store with several floors, it’s not big, but full of Harry Potter magic. When you get in there is a little shop with cards, posters etc. Then you can walk up the stairs and see the different designs. Even the stairs and the walls there are full of the design. I can find these words on the stairs: “I solemly swear I’m up to no good” and on the walls there are all these articles and search warrants from the daily prophet. On one floor you can find more of those.

One floor is dedicated to the Marauders Map, you can see the map on the floor and then other details like pictures on the wall or little things like the chocolate frog packets or Luna’s special glasses. Of course there was also the chimney and all the Hogwarts letters.

A little section was dedicated to the Fantastic Beasts as well.

The House of Mina Lima is full of so many details and you don’t actually know where to start looking. It’s so colourful and pretty and everything just makes you want to watch the movies again.
