My
Opinion:
*Book

The story follows
Amber Green. She works at a fashion boutique and suddenly sees herself being
assistant to star stylist Mona Armstrong. That gives her the possibility to go
to LA for The Golden Globes and The Oscars. She is also involved in the
preparations for the BAFTAs. Being the assistant to Mona means meeting and
working with a lot of stars.
Amber is really
busy through that and has to help everywhere, especially when Mona is not
really handling things. I felt like it was really hard for Amber to say no and
it all seemed a little too much for a person to deal with.
Of course there
are also some love interests in this story, who give it another spark. I was
curious about Amber’s feelings for them and if one of them is THE ONE. Certain
situations there seemed a bit out of context for me though and kind of didn’t fit
in the storyline.
I really liked the
fashion aspect of this story. It also kind of reminded of of The Devil Wears Prada. They are both
really different, but the idea and concept behind it are similar.
This story is a fast
paced, light hearted, entertaining and fun. There was never a dull moment and
it was full of exciting twists and turns.
