We are back in Honeyford and ready for Flora's story. She took over the bookshop and also added a café in the back.

One day Flora goes home early and catches her husband Malcom in bed with another woman, a much younger one. He begs her to stay, but continues on with the lies. Flora leaves and sleeps in the attic of her shop. Luna Purfoot, the owner of ... Feels that Flora is not doing well and offers her a room in Starlight cottage. Flora is heitant, but decides to take the offer. Luna doesn't live there alone, her son Daniel Nd grandson Caleb live there to.

Flora and Daniel are off a rocky start, but somehow they click. I liked, how they first meet and Caleb is just adorable. Daniel has been through a lot and tries to hide his feelings. Flora has to decide what happens with her marriage. Mal om shows up a lot and wants her back. Both Daniel and Flora have a lot to figure out.
She starts reading a book he suggests and that book turns out to be really important. Then there is the Cosy Kettle and the bookshop, where Flora works a lot. Caleb seems to be in trouble as well. It sounds like a lot, but Liz Eeles managed to created a wonderful storyline, full of atmosphere and I just couldn't put the book down. I loved it from the first minute! The characters are very well lined out and we were also able to catch up with some old characters, that was lovely. 

The book is full of emotions and feelings and has some surprises in store as well. Everyone played a key role in the story and it was grat to see, how they were there for each other.

In this story we follow Callie. She works in the local bookshop, she wants to please her new boss Flora, when she suggests changing an old stock room into a cafe. Flora puts Callie in charge of turning the old stock room into a café and running The Cosy Kettle as well. 

The café is Callie’s pride and I loved seeing her in this lovely environment. She has some wonderful costumers and they all become friends and are there for each other. That was a fab thing to see and read about. 

Her personal life is full of drama and ups and downs though. First of all, we have her grandfather, who plays a very important role in this story and adds another touch to it. And then we have Noah. He kind of broke her heart years ago and moved away. Well, he is back now and the butterflies are still there. 

The drama increases when the café’s reputation is in danger. Does Noah know something about that?! And what happens when he goes back to New York?!

This book is full of so many great factors. The main character is very relatable and real, there is a love/romance aspect, but also enough drama to create an entertaining storyline and the other characters also play a significant part in the story. 

It’s a warm, cosy and sweet story!

We are back in Salt Bay and I couldn’t be more excited! I adore this series, the characters and everything surrounding them.

This is book three of the series and Annie inherits Tregavara House. However, the house is old and a storm causes more damage. There is also a wedding to get read for, but money is tight.

I love how Annie’s and Josh’s relationship develop in this story. He is absolutely fabulous and I just enjoyed their scenes so much.

The whole Salt Bay community is awesome, they are there for each other and help in every way they can. A great mixture of characters, everyone special and important.

The book has some surprises in store and I think the storyline has a wonderful flow. I enjoyed every second of this book. The author’s style is romantic, sweet, fresh, emotional and very authentic. Of course there is also the beautiful setting and all these things together create a magnificent atmosphere.

We are back in Salt Bay, yay!!! I absolutely adored the first part of Annie’s story and I am very excited we get to read more about her and some other characters.

Annie Trebarwith is very happy in her new home. She takes care of her great-aunt Alice, has a gorgeous boyfriend Josh and her choir is still going strong.

Josh Pasco is a teacher, he is very busy at work, helps Annie with the choir and looks after his mother. The two of them barley see each other, but they somehow make it work.

However, Annie’s father Barry turns up with her half-sister Storm. This makes things much more complicated.

Then there is Josh’s sister Lucy with her daughter Freya. The story around Freya’s dad causes a lot of drama as well.

On top of that, there is Christmas coming up and the choir is preparing for a competition. I loved this part of the story. These little choir aspects and also the whole choir community, such a great mixture of people. Liz Eeles captured this beautifully in her writing. I felt like being in an actual rehearsal with the choir.

My favourite scenes were by far the ones with Annie and Josh together. They are such an amazing couple with a lot of chemistry. They had their ups and downs, but that was part of the storyline. I was especially surprised by Josh in the end, positively of course.

Salt Bay is a wonderful place and around Christmas it’s even more special. The atmosphere surrounding the characters and the storyline is magical.

Catching up with all the other characters was fabulous too and we get introduced to some new ones as well. They are all so unique and it’s just so sweet to see, how they are all there for each other. They are all so real and authentic.

A gorgeous read, perfect for snuggling up in a blanket with a warm drink. I enjoyed every second of this wonderful story!
