Dear Santa,

I'm sorry I haven't written in a while (your poor inbox this time of year, you must be crazed!) I bet you know what I'm going to ask for and well you're probably 100% correct! I always want the same thing; a 6 foot 4 handsome man who has a great sense of humor and likes hockey. But this year I want a few more things, I've been exceptionally good, so I think it's okay to push my luck! Serious stuff first; I would like health and happiness for those closest to me. Good fortune for the less fortunate. And no more gun violence. Now for the fun stuff; I even included links ;)

Guest Post - Letter to Santa from Emma

Dear Santa,

2017 has been a tough year for many reasons. Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year and I hope that it brings some much cheer and joy to our lives.

On my beauty wishlist this year is Benefit’s Porefessional Matte. I love this product and use it everyday. My bottle is getting a bit low so a new one for christmas would be fab. I am also wishing for a new Roller Lash Mascara (benefit), I just finished a tube of this. It’s great for everyday use and I was gutted when it ran out.  My final beauty product on my wishlist is Clinique’s Line Smoothing concealer. This has the perfect coverage for both under eye and blemishes without looking cake.

This year there are a few books on my wishlist but there are 3 I really hope to see under my tree this year. The first is Karen Swan's new book The Christmas Secret. I have been a big fan of Karen Swan’s books since I read Christmas at Tiffany’s in 2012. The next is After You by Jojo Moyes. I read Me Before You quite a while ago and while it made me sob I really enjoyed it. I really want to see how Louise is doing now. The third is Paige Toon’s final book in her YA series All about the Hype. I am a huge fan of Paige’s work and I love her YA series too. The first two books were excellent and I really want to find out how Jessie’s story ends.

Tis the Season for Christmas Dreams - My Letter to Santa + GIVEAWAY!

Dear Santa

Obviously I’ve been a very good girl this year ;). I’m still enjoying my job as a teacher very much and the work I do form y choir is a lot, but also rewarding. I have had my ups and downs, but there is always a positive side to everything, right?!

Every time somebody asks what I want for Christmas, I’m not sure. Of course I have a little list in my head with things I’d like to have. All I want is to have a great Christmas with my family and have a great 2018. As a book lover anything book connected is always a great little present. I have treated myself to some nice advent calendars (watch this spot for details soon) and I can’t wait to open these little windows.

I have created little wish lists, connected to my blogging areas. It's always difficult when it comes to books, because I usually buy them myself ;).

- Furla Metropolis Bag
- Double sided earrings
- Chloe Fay leather and suede shoulder bag

I know it’s not something you can give me, but I’d love for next year to be a fabulous travel year for me.
