Fashion Corner - CHESS Cast Party

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

If you have followed my musical month in September, you know that I was on stage for CHESS the Musical with my theatre group. It was so much fun and I still miss every moment of it. Well on stage we had certain restrictions for costumes, so I was not allowed to wear my black and white off the shoulder shirt. Well, easy I wore it for the cast party. Here is the outfit:

So the off the shoulder shirt is from Zara. The white jeans are from 1921 and my black high heels are from Peter Kaiser. With it all I'm wearing my pearl earrings, my Thomas Sabo bracelet and my new Storm watch.

Original Cover
My own copy

The blurb:

Dating Agency doyenne Ellie Rigby always thought that helping people find love with the hard part.

But now she’s all loved up with husband Nick and has hundreds of matchmaking successes under her belt, Ellie ought to know all there is to know about love.

As her struggles to get pregnant put strain on her marriage, and her matchmaking service starts losing clients, Ellie realises she has so much more to learn. So setting off on a global research trip, Ellie makes it her mission to find out what makes love last forever, and whether it’s enough to save her own romance.

My Opinion:

*Book provided by the publisher on NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*

Ellie Rigby runs a dating agency and wants to find out how couples can stay together and avoid divorce. She is also struggling to get pregnant and then there is also her husband Nick and this fact brings a wedge between them.

Ellie is determind to find out what makes love last forever and goes on a research trip all over the world, asking experts for advice. For this she leaves her best friend Matthew behind, meets someone else and is always reminded of her marriage. It’s a lot to take in and Ellie has to figure out a lot for herself, her life and also the life of some others.

I liked following Ellie around, seeing her at these different places, but sometimes there was almost too much going on for me. I was also a bit surprise about certain scenes and decisions. I still really enjoyed this book though.

Haley writing is wonderful and full of vivid enegry. It has some LOL moments and is full of heart.

Things That Annoy Me

I once wrote about 15 Things that make me happy, you can find the post here: 15 Things That Make Me Happy
In daily life there are several things that annoy me, I don’t want to rant, but I’m sure you guys can relate to one or the other:

-       People who try to talk to you, even though you’re in a conversation with someone else
-       People who always blame someone else for whatever happened
-       People who chew loudly
-       A rainy and cold June (or other spring/summer month)
-       People who say „Don’t take it personally!“
-       Someone getting involved in everything, even if they are told not to and it’s not even connected tot hem
-       People talking too much in the morning
-       Traffic
-       Someone coming to a rehearsal, not singing, but placing themselves in the middle of first row
-       People who can’t say no!
-       People driving close behind you
-       People who smell
People who judge you and don't even know the story behind certain situations
-       Rude shop assistants
-       Annoying parents at school
-       Spam emails
-       Adverts in between programmes
-       Sports commentary
-       Phone/wifi addicts
-       People who complain about „blog“ work on a holiday
-       People who complain all the time
-       People who brag
-       Arrogance

I could probably go on, but these were the ones that came to mind first. What annoys you? Let me know in the comments.
