Frankie Ashford runs away just before getting married. She hops on a plane to Norway to find her mother, who abandoned her when she was just a baby. 

She meets Jonas Thorsen and they have an instant connection and chemistry. Darcie Boleyn captured that beautifully, I loved the scenes and moments they shared. 

Part of the book was set in Norway. Boleyn made the setting come alive with her words. Take me there please! Oh and the title is perfect for this story. 

There were a lot of sub plots going on, which just made the whole book even more exciting and compelling. All the characters are wonderful and bring their own touch into it.

I really like the authors writing style. It’s full of love and passion and so wonderful and gripping. The story is about forgiveness, second chances, love, family and much more.

Bel is proud of her burlesque club, she put her heart and soul into it, but now developers want to buy the club and build something now. Everything she has worked for is now in danger.

On top of that her almost ex-husband shows up, her mother too, who gets involved in everything and Brodie Porter, the love of her life. 

Her staff is great and I loved, how she had a connection to them and how they were all there to help her. 

This is book three of the Martini Club series and there are some characters we know from previous books. I loved this and I really think that this series has a lot of charm. It can totally be read as a standalone though. 

A.L. Michael’s writing is fresh, funny and just fabulous! Bel is a strong and passionate character, I really like what Michael did with her. The book is about living your dream and fighting for it, but it’s also about love, family and friendship. The perfect mixture!

Believe it or not, but this was my first T.A. Williams book. I don’t know why it took me so long to read one of his books, but I’m very happy I did. I love Florence and just really liked the sound of this book.

My favourite part was by far Florence. Williams captured the city atmosphere beautifully and with a lot of detail.

We follow English teacher Debbie Waterson, who dreams of going to Florence. However, she is not sure whether it will live up to her expectations.

She crashes into handsome doctor Pierluigi on her bike and suddenly seems to be interested in men again. It’s partly because of him that she decides to go to Florence and she is not disappointed and decides to stay.

She finds a job and meets a lot of new people. A lot is happening and that makes the storyline very exciting. I have to say that certain things in the storyline didn’t make sense to me, but on the whole it’s a wonderful story.

The authors style is very warm and  charming and I’m definitely planning to read more of his books.

I was really intrigued by the blurb of this book and the cover is mysterious and interesting.

The story follows Daisy, who suddenly finds herself between three different men. One told her he loves her, the other proposed and the last one kissed her. Daisy is confused and leaves to stay with her sister. Daisy needs to make a decision. On top of that she is surrounded by her family at Eden Hall and family secrets get into the storyline as well.

I had to admit that I found it really hard to get into the story. There were a lot of characters and a lot of things came together, that was confusing for me.

The descriptions of the time and details in the atmosphere kept me in the book. This is really a point I liked a lot about this book.

It’s not an exciting page-turner, but the book has some special moments.
